NOT A GOOD FIT?!

It's time we talk about what happens when an adoption doesn't work out.

Your new pet isn't a bad cat, and you are not a bad owner. You have the best intentions, but sometimes things don’t work out and it turns out you’re not a good match.

 

Some issues we often see are:

Separation anxiety

Not getting along with other animals in the home

Potty training issues

Crying at night

Personality Conflicts

Monetary, Housing, or Life Changes

 

So what do you do if its not a good fit?

 

Your adoption contract states that if for any reason you need to remove the cat out of the home, to return him/her to A’s Cat Rescue. Doesn’t matter why, or when, no questions asked. We will always take a cat back. We take pride in our work with our cats and they all become part of the A’s Cat Rescue family, we love them as much as you do. There is time and energy invested in each cat, some of them even come from abusive or sick upbringings, so please return them to A’s Cat Rescue cause we want nothing but the best for them.

There maybe other cats at the rescue that might be a better fit, which could also be offered.
